I have a 722 Dish Network reciever. When HDMI is connected on the main tv, the RF remote doesn't work anymore?
When I unplug the HDMI from the main TV, the RF remote works fine. When I plug it back in, it stops working. It also works if the main TV is off.
I am currently an installer for Dish Network. Try pressing Menu-6-1-3. You should be on the System Info. Screen. press the SAT button on the remote, and then press the record button on the remote. If that doesnt fix your problem, try replacing the batteries on the remote. Next step would be to call 800-333-dish, and bypass all of the menu options and speak with tech support. The problem may be your reciever at which time dish will replace it for free.... hope I helped..
