How do I fix my Harman/Kardon AVR 154 to play Dolby Digital DTS?
All my other sound channels are working only the Digital DTS does not. Receiver will not allow me to select Dolby Digital DTS from the remote.
5.1 setup, Optical cable from TV to receiver, HDMI from TV to Cable box. All Speakers operational and connected.
What kind of devices and audio cables are you using ? You have to connect optical cable directly from cable box or other devices to receiver for decoding Dolby Digital or DTS audio formats, if you connect optical cable from TV to receiver, you only get stereo sound.
