Is there such a thing as a composite video adapter so that it can connect to a component video receiver?

I'm so not technically savvy, so I apologize for the dumb question.

So, I have a receiver that uses all component video (RGB) and audio cables. I need to connect an karaoke microphone that only has composite video and audio cables (RWY). While the audio works, the video will not work. Is there an adapter I can use to turn the "yellow" composite video to the "RGB" component video? Is there a work around?

I asked Fry's and Best Buy, and they told me that such an adapter does not exist.

Hmm. let's think about this for a moment. for karaokie.
the microphone has 2 or 3 jacks red yellow and white right?
plug the white and red into one input on your receiver.
is there an open jack on the tv or video monitor?
plug it in there. the audio will be controlled by your receiver.
then you just need to cycle through your video inputs on your monitor.
