How would I be able to hook up home DVD player with sprround sound speakers in a car?
I have a Panasonic DVD home theater sound system SA-HT670 and I would like to know if I can substitute that if I take just take out the radio. If it's possible what are the steps I have to take to be able to play my DVD player?
Well being able to play sound through your sound system speakers and watching a dvd through that sound system are very different. You will pretty much only be able to play sound through them after you get a power converter ( $50-$70 at autozone) this will give you power in the form of an outlet in your car and you can just plug the stereo right in. You will have to hook up the speaker wires from all speakers into the home theater headunit. Usually those things have an fm tuner already built in so you will be able to play sound right there.
