Need Mauser K98 Help?

I have a mauser K98 from 1939 with the markings of 337 on the Receiver (Berlin-Suhler/Gustloff-Werke) It is in excellent condition will all the markings around the rifle deep and visible. I wanted to know if this is a rare rifle or average. Also how much do you think it is worth.

You have an extremely desirable rifle. I would honestly pay around 1500 for a rifle you described. Matching numbers rifles have been gobbled up by most collectors already since they are so desirable (Id say for ever 10 mismatch rifles that come out of the woodwork, one matching one comes out). Is it a veteran bringback? Id say even if it had an import mark and it was legitimate (many unscrupulous collectors have renumbered mismatch parts, and the renumbered parts stick out like a sore thumb). If it has the sight hood, cleaning rod or sling, then you have a even more desirable (assuming they werent added later, and some collectors can tell). If it is a mitchells mauser its worth about nothing to collectors (collectors dont buy humped guns, period). All mitchells mauser rifles are Russian capture mausers that have been renumbered and refinished. The worse thing is though is that they lie about it in their ads (also with their deceptive K98 M48 ads, the M48 is not a K98, infact their parts wont even interchange).
