have an american car but need to change the rear lighting wiring so that it passes mot any ideas how to do it?

any ideas how to rewire it so it blinks normal i have amber lights to drill onto bodywork for rear indicators but need help in knowing what wiring to connect or disconnect

I done a chevy SSR recently and i presume you are rreferring to the brake/indicator problem. Firstly you need to identify the indicator feeds at the rear lights to take to your new lights. If it is bulbs you are using make sure they are the same as the original bulbs if not use these. If it is LEDs you are using the resistance is not the same and you will end up with the rear indicators flashing too quick. If you have a third brake light you may also now need to connect this to one of the rear brake lights, don't know why but was like this on the SSR. If the lights flash too quick you will need to put resistors in line or put a standard bulb from the car in line too slow it down. You will also need to find the indicator relay and disconnect the feed coming from the brake pedal so it doesn't flash the brake lights when indicating. If unsure message me and i'll try to help out.
