How do I hook up xbox360 hdmi to surround sound?
I tried hooking my xbox360 up with and HDMI cable, I went from the HDMI port on the xbox to the HDMI port on the back of my tv. But I can't get the tv to output the sound from the xbox to my surround sound. Anyone have any ideas for me? Right now I'm using the regular plugs but I would like to have the HDMI hooked up.
What is the model number of sound system ? If your receiver supports audio via HDMI ( it has the logos of DTS-HD MA and Dolby True HD on receiver ), you should connect HDMI from Xbox to receiver for audio and another HDMI from receiver to TV for video.
