2 dual 4 CVX 12s and BRZ2400.1D?
ok I want to know what these two submarines will be a perfect match for my amp just got {FedEx} based how they are wired? i was told to go with the double 2s if I want to run 3 cvx 12s, but was told by a {auth. Dealer kicker} the 2 i already double 4s would be perfect for this amp. thus, the submarines are 750/1500W each and the amp .... 850W @ 4 ohms 1700W @ 2 ohms. and 2400w @ 1 ohm. I think the 2 dual 4 12s I would already defeated big time no matter how they are wired. I am a liitle confused now by what people say different. Now if there are 12 other "in there other than {first} and pioneer new for about the same price of a CLC can you please let me know. any good advice would be appreciated ..... thx
If you have a pair of double-4, then you CAN be on them if you do not adjust your right to gain. Just because the MPA can put up to 2400 watts RMS into 1-ohm does not mean it will be all the time, that you and you know when to stop turning the volume up. I also agree with 3 double-2 would be ideal for this setup though, you could son up to 1.33 ohms to pull about 2000 watts RMS clean from this amp. This means that each sub would receive approximately 666 watts RMS on the 750 they can each round, which is almost perfect, only 84 additional watts would not even make an audible difference. Like any other 12 "in there to about the same price, I would say that suggests the following: If I remember correctly CVX 12's sell for about $ 300 ... then ...
